I've been using paperport on the PC for years, most recently with a Xerox 510.
The initial goal to become paperless has long-since faded into distant memory, but some document scanning will always be necessary (or at least handy). The old HP 5P still cranks out printing tasks perfectly, so probably won't change until it dies and will continue to use the 510 if I can figure out how to do it.
I'd ask my local guru (SIL) but he's on a campout with the grandkid's scout troop for which AlexB graciously donated the jams and goodies.
