Just switched to sbcglobal.net and cannot get the incoming server set right.
What needs to be set in the Mail and Newsgroups settings of the Netscape 7.2 browser to allow email to be received by me?
(I can send just fine, just cannot receive using this new email address.)

In the Mail & Newsgroups Settings, set it to

Server Settings:
incoming mail
mail.sbcglobal.net

Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

Try setting the incoming server to pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com which is the server SBC uses.

P.S. My dad has SBC Yahoo DSL at his house and I use the following for e-mail server settings:
POP3 (Incoming): pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com
SMTP: smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com

I tried pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com and it asks for a password.
I enter the same password I use for everything and the new error msg says that is not the right pw. I don't think its a pw issue at all, I believe it is not recognizing me
(the email address is abcde@sbcglobal.net)

(The original error message was that it fails to connect to the sbcglobal server.)
