Saw a nice seaplane while fishing

It's the beginning of the movie "Always" and as far as I'm concerned, you can turn the movie off after that scene. Despite being a Spielberg direction and some big name stars movie, it's a pretty sappy and pointless remake of the 1943 movie "A Guy Named Joe."

I live about 100 feet from a sea plane base. One guy in a C-206 always uses full throttle to taxi across the lake to take off. Full up elevator, tail just out of the water, prop tips super sonic and away he goes, then yank power to idle, turn around and full throttle again to take off. I don't think he ever reduces the prop RPM for anything.

He took off at 430 this morning. I didn't have to look out the window to know who it was.

I think I am finally starting to not like airplane noise.

Can't convince him to do his warm up taxi at 2400 rpm? Still plenty of heat and power.
