Aside from $ignature, anyone know the options for light GA into Savannah or Hilton Head. Pondering a trip, but the fuel prices at both airports appear to be quite high, and my experience with $ignature is high ramp fees. Is Sheltair at SAV light-GA friendly?

The only other nearby options appear to be military.

ARW??

HXD typically waives fees w fuel and will offer weekend discounts on 100LL (.50c?). Worth calling if your final destination

I'm not sure where your final destination is, but I agree with Andrew that ARW is an option, as is MidCoast Regional (LHW), an affordable joint use airport with plenty of happy visitors.
 
I live on KSVN, and am a student pilot at a private strip, GA39.

When are you going to be in town?

Not sure about dates yet, most likely sometime this summer. Probable destination is Savannah proper, with side excursions over to the Islands. Toying with combining it with the Charleston area.

Rental cars will be required....
