My nephew is graduating boot camp down in San Antonio at Lackland Air Force base. I was wondering if anyone had any advice for a good easy airport to fly into, I am somewhat a newer pilot (june 2014 - 140 hrs) and will flying my little Pîper warrior and sometimes feel as if I am more I the way then anything at some airports. Any advice of an easy place that I can get in and out of fairly easy let me know.

Thanks again for your help

Stinson (KSSF) is closest civil (towered) airport and GA friendly-about a 15 drive to Lackland. I fly out of Boerne Stage (5C1) NW of San Antonio, about a 45 minute drive from Lackland.

Second that - Stinson is a great field, very friendly and helpful controllers with San Antonio Approach and Stinson Tower.

Stinson. I used to be based there. Good folks, easy access.

Perfect, that's what I was looking for - thanks again guys

San Antonio Aviation would be my preferred place at Stinson for an FBO... some good guys there.

FYI, in the Air Force,, it's Basic Training, not Boot Camp.

It seemed like "boot camp" to me...

Busy airport or not, it's your airspace too, no apologies necessary for going where you want to go.
