Salmon Fishing in Oswego, NY

A friend from work and I flew up to Oswego, NY last week to go Salmon fishing. Just an overnighter, made possible by the RV's speed. I did a little web log on the trip. Enjoy

Thanks for the pics. I used to run a yacht 2x per year through that canal. Welland between Erie and Ontario and then Erie Canal between Oswego and Troy. Bring back memories. I remember the banks full of fisherman in the fall. Such a pretty trip.

Everyone I saw wasn't using bait -- they just had a piece of colored sponge or gummy bear thing on the hook. They were catching the salmon by snagging them. I was told the salmon weren't eating, just trying to get upriver to spawn.
