Sadly lost a Red Arrow today

Sad day indeed, the team engineers love to ride along as pax whenever possible.
RIP to the engineer and speedy recovery to the pilot of Red 3
 
Saw them around 83-84 I think when they were doing a limited tour in the US. We were up on the roof of King Hangar at Eglin AFB and some of their maneuvers were flown over the hangar, and very low. They were great.

RIP to the engineer.
 
Very sad news in this centenary year of the RAF.

Have seen the Arrows many times when I lived in the UK and also over the water of the Persian Gulf when I lived in the Middle East, when they did a tour there about 15 years ago.
