Jack Hirsh, the President of the Bonanza Pilot Proficiency Program passed away yesterday, reportedly of a heart attack.

I had actually just met him this past Saturday at the SGR Open House, where he was representing his flying club (Sugar Land Flying Club) with their Bonanza on the ramp and his personal Ercoupe. We talked about him participating in a couple of events at the museum I volunteer at over at Hobby Airport.
