RV-7A Flip Over

And now I see on vansairforce that Van has issued a "service bulletin" for a nosegear modification to the -xA's. Lots of discussion, and an NTSB investigation, over there. Seems interesting that its not any one thing that they can pinpoint causing the problems. Perhaps just lousy piloting. Just reinforces my personal decision to build a -7 instead of -7A

yes, thats true Richard, and even my girlfriend agrees

Tony didn't know you were building a plane!

You're a tail dragger anyway :)

jay, im not...yet. waiting to get out of a college and get a real (paying) job

Another example of how trikes are not necessarily safer... all it takes to bend any airplane is to do something you shouldn't.

yea and from what i hear the tailwheel RV's are pretty docile. Im pretty sure there have been a lot more trigear flip overs than taildragger ground loops.

(dont worry chris I'll still fly with you ;))
