Taxi to Parking
I use an analogy of crazy Russian pilots and their broken airplane to discuss the clock and wavefront model of somitogenesis. One year I had a Russian student, so to avoid offense I couched the whole things as a joke and nothing more. She said that i was right, that Russian pilots were all nuts, the airplanes were all broken, and no one should fly on them.
