FlightPrep is charging through with their lawsuit against RunwayFinder. RunwayFinder is attempting to fight FlightPrep and their patent. There is a 'defense fund' set up for those who wish to support RunwayFinder's efforts monetarily:

I can't answer exactly but he did say that he had also gotten some big contributions from some other software companies and there is a rumor that he has the IP attorney that helps Jep with their patent issues.
