Runway Update - Friday

Dr Bill and I just walked the length of the runway, and the overnight rain had no effect on it. Still very firm, and as good as it normally is. There are a couple of critter tunnels on the south side about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way down from the east end of it, so stick to the center/right center as you land on 24 and you'll be fine.

Ground fog from the river, but conditions much improved in the past hour, the sun is starting to burn thru, I'd say another hour and the flightline will be open for business.

The runway is currently fogged in. The fog should clear as the air warms.

The fog has lifted. CAVU is pending.

wow it sounds like I made a good decision yesterday although I hated to leave so soon - I sure wouldn'ta wanted to be trying to get out through that. (needed a 7am departure)
