Yup.... Wearable tech really took off with the various FitBit and SmartWatch style items. I think I saw something from Mark Cuban that said that the space, while crowded with entries, was going to be one of the more exciting to observe from an innovation viewpoint. Especially health and performance monitoring.
Going with the rumble strip idea... I could see the haptic prompt occurring when you would be off course on an approach, or when you're developing an unusual or dangerous attitude, or too high or low from an assigned altitude, expiration of timers, reaching minimums, and more.
It will be interesting to see if any of the popular headset manufacturers pick up the license and bring this tech to market.
