Pre-Flight
I thought I posted this, but I couldnt find it.
The headset: http://www.ruggedradios.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_11&products_id=3
Once I get some RPMs going (about 2300) this headset will create some static on the intercom for the other person in the plane. The tower cant hear the static.
I bought it as a backup, and let my son wear it and I could hardly hear him. So, I sent it in to Rugged Radio and they nicely sent me a new one. But, same issue. And I have duplicated this in another aircraft so it isnt the plane.
If I swap headsets in the same plane with my Zulu 2, and me wearing the RR, the person wearing the Z2 hears it. To confirm, I borrowed a Clark headset and couldnt duplicate the issue with me wearing the Z2. So, it IS the radio.
Any ideas on this? I am hoping it is something simple that Im not thinking of.
