I have a USED Rugged Air RA900 headset that I purchased on Amazon roughly 4 years ago for $159. Here's a link to Amazon page that shows current price of $145:

I used this the first 6 months for my primary PPL training about 75 hours. Since then it's had very little use, since I purchased a QT Halo headset that has become my primary. I keep it at home in the bubble wrap it came in so it's not worn down and weathered by sitting in the heat. This would make a good starter headset for someone just getting into their private training, or a secondary headset you can keep around for pax. It does have pretty strong clamping force which some people may not like. The audio quality for both receiving and transmitting is solid.
There are no defects on this unit functionally or visually (no frayed or broken wires, mic boom moves easily, no broken plastics). I did stick a GoPro mount on top once (with 3m doublesided tape) that can be removed easily. I have NOT replaced any of the ear seal/mic components to 'refresh' this unit - selling it AS IS.
