Hi everyone.
Does anyone know where I can find some information about the possibility of upgrading an engine from 1500 to 200Hrs, and what it would take to do it?
I think the engine was manufactured in 2007 at the beginning of the year, SN 5 648 438
Thank you.

First thing that comes to mind is Lockwood, Sebring, FL., they have helped me out a bunch of times with Rotax engines, good luck, wish you the best on that

Hi.
Thank you, for the feedback.
By looking at the SB it would imply that any engine above the SN 4,923.890, need no modifications / should be a 2000hrs?
Am I missing something?

Has the 1,000 hour "special check" been performed? And from time to time, a manufacturer will alter the TBO, based on field experience.

Hi.
As far as I know the engine is below 1000.00Hrs, but I am not sure if it followed the 100hr. or any other protocol that Rotax requires, but it is not very clear what they actually want / need.
The SB does not mention anything about the SNs above 4,923.890.
