Please support my co-worker's niece and her classmates in the

Rockwell Automation "Engineering our Future" competition

Her class submission is on page 6, second from the top on the far right. It's the orange crosswalk guy or the orange crosswalk sign. The name of her project is called "Light Up Crosswalk"

Seems like a very high cost:benefit program to me, several million dollars per life at least with little guaranty of any return on investment.
 
The Good: kids are thinking, so for that, great job!

The Bad: I wouldn't donate a penny to help those who don't know how the F to cross a road. I mean, accidents happen, but seriously, PAY ATTENTION. problem solved.
