Meadowlark Lemon was a great athlete and a great entertainer. I remember watching the Harlem Globe Trotters on T.V. and Meadowlark always bought a smile to my then very young face. I remember his antics with Curly. He and the Globe Trotters bought so much joy to so many. He may have been a total clown on the court but the man was also a great athlete.

Meadowlark was pretty much the face of the Globetrotters for years.

RIP. They guys was gifted and funny. Glad he had such a good run. Worse things than dying of natural causes at 83.

I saw him play in person a few times as a kid. The man was both a great athlete and a comic genius. RIP.
