I wasn't a big fan, just like I'm not a big fan of Mike Busch. Regardless, he was indeed a true aviator (as the announcement states) with vast amount of aviation knowledge. May he rest in peace:

CPA E-ATIS
Volume 18 Issue 1
June 12, 2016

We are deeply saddened to report the passing of John Frank, CPA co-owner and founder, on Thursday, June 9th at his home in Santa Maria, CA. CPA as well as the aviation community has lost a true aviator with a wealth of technical knowledge and experience both in and out of the cockpit.

Please be assured that Cessna Pilots Association will continue servicing the needs of the membership. For the time being Tom Carr, Paul New and Dennis Wolter will be answering the tech tickets. The Association will be actively searching for in-house tech reps. In the meantime, if you need immediate technical help, please call the office and we will have someone return your call.

The Cincinnati, OH Legacy 182 and 210 Systems and Procedures Classes in September are still scheduled.
Paul New and Tom Carr will be your instructors.

The staff appreciates your patience during our time of transition.

Interesting. That thread doesn't appear when I do a "John Frank" search. Also, that link doesn't work for me.

Edit: who started the thread? Maybe it's possible that if you have someone on ignore here then you don't even see their threads when you do a search. That'd be interesting...

Edit: yeah, that's the deal, maybe because there weren't yet responses.
