Any advice on where to get my emergency parachute repacked in the Orlando area? I’m now based at KISM. I flew over to KZPH yesterday but the glider operation made landing impossible.

Should be able to search FAA database for riggers. They do a lot of skydiving at the Deland airport. There is also Z Hills over toward west coast.

Make sure to deselect all when making selection.

Thanks. Yes. DeLand is anlso where I do my maintenance. All are able to do it. Also interested in quality of service, turnaround times, cost. Zephylhills will be my last choice given the glider situation. Not a safe place.

I get my chute packed at ZPH. Been there dozens of times and never had a problem landing.

Training traffic usually lands on 05-23, while the skydivers and gliders are on 01-19. Take the midfield taxiway to the SE end and park across the runway from Skydive City and the glider base. I walk across the runway to deliver my chute, then they yell at me and give me a golf cart ride back.

All that said, I would try to find someone at Deland if I were you.

i get mine done at shell creek by punta gorda. i was in hurry due to some training that was scheduled and he was able to turn them both in two days. i believe it was 110 each.

Thank you. Would make for a nice xc flight.
