Yeah I like that vid as well. Looks like that ride really had an affect on him.
There's another vid out there of one of the other hosts going up in an F-15E out of Seymour Johnson. He really enjoyed it but got a bit sick in the back.

I used to watch the NASA version take off and land from my desk at Eielson AFB, AK.
Sometimes I would call for an antenna inspection on top of the tower cab when I knew the NASA U2 bird was scheduled to fly. Great seat for that 45* climb. I have also seen it land when the ground crew wasn't ready and watched them drop a wing into the grass.
They came up every other year to do a complete photo shoot of the entire state.

Agreed....that is a really awesome segment they did. I'd do just about anything to get to fly one of those some day, if only just once.
