Maybe others don't like this idea, but is it possible to have it set up so that when I click on any of the threads it takes me to the first new post in the thread? It does it if I click on most recent thread listed where all the forums are listed, but not once inside the forum. Or am I missing a setting somewhere?

Try the little chevron just to the left of the thread title on threads that have new posts.
