Remember that QANTAS 747 incident a few months ago?

Do you remember the QANTAS 747 which had an explosion which ripped a hole in the fuselage?

It was just reported that the very same aircraft was just involved in an on-ground collision with another QANTAS aircraft.

The 747 collided with the wing of the other aircraft (unknown as to which aircraft was resonsible for the collision) and substantial damage was done to the nose of the 747. The picture shown was pretty wild- most of the nose of the 747 was pushed inward.

Must have been real interesting for those in First Class! If I can find a copy of the pic which was shown on TV, I'll post it.

The link Kent posted says that both 747s were being towed at the maintenance facility... no passengers aboard.

In the initial report on FOX, it was not stated that they were under tow. Like most TV reports of aircraft incidents/accidents, it was dearth of details.
