Hi. I’m in training in NY with a career path in aviation. Depending on the industry bounce back from the covid crisis, I’m loosely thinking of a 3 year plan to move out of the metropolitan area. What are some great cities for pilots, in career potential, quality of life and cost of living?

I agree with @Zeldman , unless you have a specific reason to be somewhere I'd just move for whatever job best furthers your goals. It's gonna be a moving target anyway - what's true today is not likely to be true in three years.
