Pre-takeoff checklist
I was doing a blog post on my site today (I'll shameless plug that below). Apparently pilots have witnessed red sprite lightning for a century. It wasn't until 1989 that the phenomenon was documented (I guess by high speed photography).
Anyone ever see this? I'm always way behind the pilot in a tiny seat when I'm that high in the sky.
