Recurrence of PAF

I have SI for PAF. No treatment. Seen by cardiology 2 weeks ago. Clear letter and 24 hr holter in hand. Scheduled for FAA medical next week. And then...

Just left ED after a self limited recurrence. Last about 90 min. First in over 10 years.

I will be cancelling my medical when I get home. Do I need another total work up? Stress test, echo, another holter?

look at the specification sheet for renewal. Work with your doc to satisfy the SPECIFIC rate limitations on the holter. Usually the doc will add something for better rate control.

Then the Holter demonstrates that control, which after an episode like you describe, isn't solid.
