Hey,

I know that with Powerpoint, you can record a narration and set up slide timings to go with it, but does anyone know of cheap (free??) software that can convert a powerpoint presentation to some kind of video file?

Or a simple program that can record whats happening on your desktop and whats playing through speakers to a video?

I've used this to create some tutorials. It seems to work pretty well. You'll like the price.

Andrew,

As soon as you find a tool that you like, please report back here. Threads like this tend to draw out the spammers who LOVE to post about their software. Or, rather, love to pay people from India to post about their software. We've already had two such posts that I've had to delete.

Once you have your answer, I'll lock the thread...which should keep them out.

Do modern applets cull info that cleanly, that software spammers can dial down to Pilots of America? That's pretty serious technology.

Oh wow, I had no idea. Sorry about that!

I've got a few options to play with. You can lock the thread.
