Today I had a chance to fly a Yak 52 and it was a blast doing basic acrobatics! Now I want to get my tailwheel endorsement and learn basic acro flying. Looking for good recommendations in or near the San Diego area. The club I fly out of Plus One Flyers alas has none. BTW the Yak is a lot of fun to fly! Only downside is the limited range fuel tanks but probably the funnest plane I have yet flown out of the piston aircraft thus far as a pilot.

Cool thanks I think my next step is to get tailwheel training and endorsement since 90% of acrobatic and warbird planes are taildraggers and this will open many opportunities to fly different cool stuff.
