Haven’t flown in 15 years. I have PPL with 115 hours. I had passed the instrument written 5 years ago but never took flight instruction for it.

Will re-study for instrument written and retake again. How long does instrument typically take to complete?

Looking for flight school recommendations near KSUA.

My goal is to get to regionals/cooperate. I currently work 3 days a week and able to fly 3-4 days a week.

Also, looking for recommendations for a new headset as well.
Thanks.

Stuart has a 141 school, TCFT (treasure coast flight training).

I use it to get my ratings 10 years ago, it’s a lot bigger today.

Any other recommendations in the area?

Stuart has Treasure Coast Flight Training. Ft. Pierce has Aviator College. Vero has Skyborne (formerly Flight Safety) and Paris Air. I’ve had a couple flight reviews through TCFT. One CFI was good.

As far as headsets, I recently bought a Lightspeed Sierra. It’s excellent - quiet, comfortable, excellent mic and sound quality. As far as I can tell it’s the same as a Zulu but with plastic earcups instead of magnesium and a regular cable instead of the one with a Kevlar core. A friend who I fly with has had Sierras for his passenger headsets for a while now. They’re holding up perfectly.
