This is my first post, thank you in advance to all that can help with any info. I'm 43 year old looking to start my PPL, due to my day job it has to be done as a part time, most likely during weekends and maybe 1 or 2 times very early during weekdays. I'm expecting to start sometime in September/August as I want to knock the FAA written exam first.
The closer airports to me are: X39, ZPH, VDF. I'm trying to avoid the flight schools just to prevent the risk of the constant changes of CFIs. Is this something realistic?
