Reckless driving charge and airline work

If one ever does ‘swing a cat’, don’t be taking video of it. That seems like an activity where one could run afoul of the animal cruelty crowd. Was swinging a cat ever a thing?

Swing dead cat, beat a dead horse, tip a cow…

Ya, of course it is!

OP needs to be careful with his terms. If he has an ARREST for DUI then that will still be there. Plea deals don't rewrite arrest records. He will have to admit to being ARRESTED for DUI, but not a conviction for DUI. I don't think that will make a big difference as its quite east to surmize that a deal was made. Your state may vary, but DUI arrests are a special case and most states don't let you hide from it.

Pay for a background check. They are cheap and make sure they search for arrests, not just convictions. Arrests are also public domain as are convictions.

Whats hilarious is that many people join the military with DUI/drug arrests and still get do some crazy jobs. Half the weapons dept on my boat had a waiver for something. They gave us guns and let us play with nuclear missiles. The FAA sees a DUI and you are instantly the most notorious criminal on the planet.

I was never charged with a DUI. It’s just reckless driving charge. Same event

Yes. Arrested for dui but charged/convicted for reckless. So not a dui conviction on my record.

The title of the string, is "Reckless Driving Charge". It should be "DUI charge reduced to wet reckless". Kinda revealing right there....as to how the OP wishes to have this regarded. Heck anyone in this position desires that. But this is a DUI reduced to reckless.

This all goes to character and in the hiring process (for person who while Asea becomes both Judge and bailiff as in, Captain, SIR), is permitted to be considered. "A person with a clean record vs a person with a record. Hmmm. Who do I choose?"

But once through the door, it's about what you do with it, not that you for example
"went to riddle"
"Have a graduate degree"
"did something onetime stupid"

It's about what you do with it. Not how you got to the door.
Buck up and get clean. Stop all drinkin: Two strikes, that's even harder. One, is surmountable.

Well, it certainly won't help you get hired, but shouldn't be a huge hindrance. But you have 600 hours, you have a while before you'll need to worry about this.

One thing is for certain, if you have a second issue with the law, you're gonna be in real deep crap, cause now there is a pattern. Make sure you have the Uber app on your phone....

Having grown up in a rural area, cow tipping is a real thing....
Its a real myth, along the same lines as taking a goober "snipe hunting". (And yes, I know there is a real bird called a snipe, but that's not the target of a snipe hunt.
