Hello. Looking at a Cessna 210J. Times are 3XXX TT (don't know) and about 1350 SMOH. Looks like it's had great maintenance, hangared, same owner for about the last fifteen years...
That said, is it just a guess as to how much time before it's gonna need an overhaul?
And question B...and it's REALLY what I'd like to do... is fly it for about 100 hours, while I find a good IO-550... pickle that engine and put it in the hangar, then do a transplant when the IO-520 gets done.
Thoughts? Coaching from somebody's that been there and done that would be much appreciated!
