Reminds me of a United flight to Heathrow a few years ago.
United usually offers an ATC channel on the inflight entertainment system so that you can hear the crew talk to ATC during your flight. I'm not sure if UAL realized this, but the crew intercom is also patched into that channel (or at least it was on my flight).
So, early in the descent toward the UK, I hear a Flight Attendant talking to the FO and she mentions that she discovered a rodent in the aft galley. Then ensued a discussion between the crew as to whether or not they should report this......the FO decides that in the interest of avoiding a ground quarantine upon landing, the best course of action was to avoid mentioning it.
Not sure if the critter got off in London or not.
