Rantoul, IL (KTIP) Sunday 4/20/08

University of Illinois Flying Team will be having their fundraiser fly-in tomorrow (Sunday, April 20) in Rantoul, Illinois (KTIP).

Since Tony and I are the only two IR current pilots in the ISU Flying Club and tomorrow's weather will be in the dumps tomorrow morning, we'll be piloting the two planes coming from Ames.

If anyone is in the area for the event, look for 182RG - N6274S and 172 - N99930 or N55350.

Would be nice to see a few PoA'ers while in a different part of the country.

well the 7 AM TAF went down the crapper, plus it was a 2.5 hr flight from here to there and we wanted to be assured pancakes, so we are going to Perkins!

Too bad about the WX it is CAVU, and wonderful here today.

But I could not go anyways. I am about to go for a bike ride and then there is a folk concert aka festival this afternoon I want to go to.
