Rant & Rave

[DeltaCharlie172]

There was another forum (name is slipping my mind - not around anymore) that had a thread for rants & raves. Frankly, it was the only place the moderators would allow rants and raves. If someone was edging on the line of getting a thread closed down (ie. TNFlyGirl Final NTSB report issued) moderators would give you the warning to head to the rant and rant thread.

So, here we go—let’s start a fresh thread for all the rants and raves on PoA.

Rant: Something that’s been driving you nuts, frustrating you, or you just have to vent about.
Rave: Something that’s impressed you, made your day, or you just want to shout out.

POA ROC would make this kind of thread pretty tame...

(your choice if that's a rant or rave)

[Sac Arrow]

Rant: Copyright infringement

Rave: Imitation is the ultimate compliment

You're new here. We used to have something similar here also. The consensus is that the internet has enough places for that kind of thing that having it here is a net negative. If people want to argue politics, religion or whatever they have plenty of places to do that already.

I’m new here too and that thread got super censored, some good stuff got taken out too, like the crash investigation courses, never knew those existed, also seems the IQ / pretty girl theory is a taboo topic.

Disappointing but their site their rules I guess

We used to have a sub-forum called the Spin Zone that emulated this type of thing, but that got dissolved many moons ago. The issue was, people couldn’t control themselves and it got too hot and heated. I actually wouldn’t mind bringing it back, but it probably isn’t a good idea given our dynamic.
