Being a farm boy I want rain and being a flyer I don't.

I need multi-personality disorder therapy.

It's raining here in ATL too, but we are just hoping it will knock down some of the pollen!!! The pollen count was over 6000 yesterday! Not sure how they come up with the numbers, but my eyes and throat feel like I am living in a dust bowl! :mad2:

This was yesterday morning on the freeway about 200 yards from my house.

I live in Phoenix, Arizona I do not remember the last time I saw rain. And when it does rain here people go outside to look at the rain, to smell it and just soak it up.

I'm in Florida ,and summer has come early, rain in the forecast ,for every afternoon this week and next. Will just have to fly in the morning.

200 foot ceilings here today.

The STOL competition in Llano is scrubbed for me.

A year ago (according to Facebook) I was posting about the sunny 81 degree weather, and we were packed.

This weekend, it's 69, drizzling, and people are going home early. :-(

If I ever hear anyone complain about "drought" again, I will brain them. All we've had for three months is crappy weather, with lots of rain, and it's getting pretty tedious.

We just planted a bunch of replacement citrus and LOVE this rainy weekend!

The cows gave us all the natural fertilizer we needed, and God sent the rain.

It just doesn't get all that much better.

My redneck - Dad's farmer tan - is coming along very nicely, too.

Well, true -- today was a perfect day to transplant three palm trees. The soil was soft, the temps were moderate, and the skies were overcast, so no sunscreen required.

But I'd rather have sunshine and a full airport!

Good thing you don't live in S.E. Alaska. If you don't fly in the rain you don't fly much.

You may have noticed a distinct lack of people in Alaska? That's just one (of the 100) reasons few of us choose to live there. ;)
