radar imaging

Anyone know where to get one of those radar imagers? I know they have several manufacturers but can't find any info on it. I'm talking about aesa/pesa/phased array stuff. They invented them back in the seventies but now its getting censored or something.

I think the military uses them a lot. Why don't you contact them? :wink2:

Plenty of into out there, google APG-79 and THAAD, for instance.

If you have tens of millions of $$'s to spend, and you can get State Department approval, I'm sure you could snatch one up too. Or just buy a high lot Super Hornet.

Its not like that. They went consumer decades ago. Single chip systems so cheap manufactures were using them in PIR sensors and stud finders. There was a hobby robotics company that sold the bare chip for a while. In the US once something has become public knowledge it can not be classified, but that appears to be what is happening. That or a competing country is buying up the patents to slow us down.
