My local auto body shop turned me on to this stuff. I used it yesterday on my 4-year-old Kia Soul. I think it did a heck of a job.

Unfortunately, I didn't take a "before" picture, but the trim was pretty shabby looking. We'll see how it holds up.

Yes.

EDIT: I also used it on the flat black-painted metal wiper blade arms. It seemed to work nicely on them. It didn't so much shine them as evened them out. (The label says it can be used on painted metal.)

It has a nice smell, too. It reminded me a bit of spiced rum.

If this was just black plastic you can also use a heat gun. Don't hold it in one place too long but it brings out the oils in the plastic and restores the color.
 
I think every Chevy Avalanche owner should get a free bottle with purchase of that stuff. Almost every one I see looks like crap grey plastic was installed.
 
Some more shots. It actually looks better. The BlackBerry camera doesn't take the best shots, and I've driven the car since it was applied, so there's some road dust and the like on the surfaces already.
