While we're on this topic, Top Gear has quite a few episodes involving planes (and cars, of course).

I also like the race through Europe they had between a 182 and the Veyro. Of course, the car wins (it obviously wasn't really a fair competition - slow plane, no IFR, etc.), but it is entertaining:

The all time best was the Lotus Exige vs. the Apache Longbow...I'll have to see if I can find it on the interweb somewhere.

The Veyron vs. the Cessna really wasn't a fair comparison in any respect for many reasons, but it made for some entertaining TV at least.

Veyron vs. fighter jet, on the other hand? AWESOME!
