Brooke, you've gotten quite a few really good responses here. It may be inevitable that your flight instructor of choice *will* be heading to the airlines before you get the PPL. You may want to ask how the transition would be handled. Would they stick you with the person who's got the least number of students? Would you have to go through the interview process all over again? Or would your instructor try to match you with the person whose teaching style best fits your learning style?
