Questions- Looking at a 64' C-150 D For Sale

Well, signed the agreement, scheduled pre-buy and opened escrow on a 69 Yankee AA-1. Straight up stock engine/VFR. This is going to be fun
The early aa1s are great airplanes but they could use a little more power under the hood. With the wing design and low hp they can get into a mushing nose up descent well above stall speed that requires getting the nose down to trade altitude for airspeed. It’s a great plane and nothing to be scared of at all just need to figure out its limits and respect them.

The pre-buy on the Yankee is tomorrow and I'm feeling good about it. My review of the logs since 2010 shows that its annuals were performed by a Grumman Guru (Cecil Aero) recommended by the Grumman-Gang.
