Don't expect to find some young engineer or cop with three kids to live in a 500k house on the golf course.

Why not? My kids grew up in a golf course community with mosy 500-600k houses where the summer rec swim team had 140 kids under 14 on it. This in a country club neighborhood of about 750 houses. Maybe not cops, but engineers, small business owners, airline pilots, and at least one aviation journalist. And many lawyers with trophy spouses.

Wait, someone actually USES LinkedIn? LOL!

I thought everyone just had an account out of curiosity and then never logs in ever again except maybe once a year when supremely bored.

I used to think LinkedIn was useless for me until I got heavy into Salesforce development, and now I get all kinds of messages from folks. I'm actually starting a new job search in the next couple weeks, so they might come in handy. I never know - one of them might offer me one MILLION (no strike that - BILLION) dollars for my skills!
