My doctor has prescribed a medication that is not allowed by the FAA and I realize that I must self ground. However, he has only prescribed that I take it for a short period. Can I begin to fly after the prescription expires? If so, how long do I have to wait? If not, how do I get legal?

Thanks

Depends on what it is. If you don't want to publish it, email me. I still take email from this board. I don't from the other as I've been the recipient of some slash and burn type email r.e antidepressives and other prohibited Rxs.
