The G1000 supplement for my DA40 prohibits use north of 65N between 75w and 120 w in Alaska and the Western Arctic.
Looks like the issue is with the AHRS, not the GPS.
What to do? Can you navigate using the standby gyro horizon? The KAP 140 AP seems to use the invisible electric turn coordinator so that should work.
