I'm getting there. Being able to create new threads in news is a bigger issue, however, because your thread was appearing as our main headline on the front page.

Now - to answer your original question:

Those are spider programs. Their job is to search the internet and catalogue sites for the search engines. This is good for us - it means we're gradually getting added to more of the major search engines and that helps us get found.
