Question for CBE area pilots

Last time I was there, I got clearance in the air. How do I get it on the ground? Should I call Elkins?

As noted in the A/FD, there's an RCO to Elkins on 122.35.

Thanks, Ron. I saw that freq in the A/FD, but it didn't work last time. (What this probably means was nobody was answering.) The last time I was there was a few months ago, and I was with CFII, on my long IFR X-C.

I don't like to pick up clearances in the air.

I had a very simular experience with an RCO in upstate NY that did "not seem to work". I called 1-800 WX-Brief and got the clearence. They gave me an impossible void time but we negotiated it out. It worked out real well for the local weather was one of those Visability 2 and lots of buiding CU. The flight service folks were so helpful and still are so very helpful when we get caught in a Jam.
