Perhaps it is having lost my Daddy a little over a year ago, but these really get to me a lot lately.

I had the privilege of meeting a retired USAAF/USAF General, flew in combat in three wars, starting with P40, closing with F4. Such a gentleman, modest beyond measure. Same event, got to buy supper for active some USAF fighter jocks and their families.
