Although I see it is an "approved" medication, I was given Uroxatral to treat an inflamed prostate from a diagnoses of prostatitis (the doctor actually said I have chronic prostatitis). However, this was all due to possible bacteria infection, currently being treated with cipro.
Anyhow, no prescription was issued just two sample bottles to get rid of any fluid in/around(?) the prostate. Of course I plan on disclosing this condition during my next medical (in a month or two).
Is this a Special Issuance type approval? It seems this condition is quite common in us men...if I am not mistaken.
I apologize for a potentially dumb question, but I've been gathering all of my medical records for a list of MD visits in the past 3 years as well as any letters required for the purpose of a medical being issued without any issues.
Thanks!
