Proposal: FAA to be mandated to allow UAVs in US Airspace

First user fees, now this.

On Monday, the Senate sent to President Obama legislation that would require the Federal Aviation Administration to devise ways for that to happen safely in three years

Yeah I can't wait to see how this plays out.

Either we'll all be excluded from huge swaths of airspace or we'll all have to install expensive boxes which have nothing whatsoever to do with flying the aircraft.

My solution, put an observer in each UAV...

Not me of course, but I know if a certain Tiger owner that will be re-arming his airplane.



From other articles I have read the primary use for these is SURVEILLANCE.
