How about "damper", as in yaw damper or aileron/elevator damper?

I'll give you Boeing's definitions:

The Yaw Damper system dampens undesirable sideslip and rolling motions.

Aileron and Elevator dampers, dampen control surfaces velocity. The dampers resist rapid movement of the control surfaces such as flutter or high frequency buzz during flight or by sudden wind gusts while the aircraft is on the ground.
